A Friday..

A day into the life of a vet student.. Just in case you were wondering how my life goes..here is a short excerpt.

7am - Wake up and prepare packed lunch (Ham sandwiches with yogurt)

8am - Class starts for an hour. It's all about urinary incontinence in dogs and cats

9am - Urinary lab where we proceed to put in urinary catheters into dog and cat cadavers with some difficulty in the cats because they have really small openings.

11am - Start last minute mugging for exam at 1pm

12pm - The last bit of mugging

1pm - Take exam

2pm - Wear coveralls and go to the research farm

3pm - Put hand up the horse's butt and scoop up all the poop to feel it's reproductive tract. Narrowly miss being splattered with poop.

5pm - Play tennis.. yeah!

Ok.. It's not that exciting all the time. We only have labs and exams once or twice a week. Usually we spend a lot of time studying.
